One Card Wonder Wednesday - July 8, 2020 - Tasteful Touches Card.

Hello!

I'm here!  I know I have been behind this week on my posts but I'm here now!  LOL.  Thank you for your patience and understanding!

This week's One Card Wonder Wednesday is all about the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set and the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.  I wanted to create a card that mingled the two together but also added a pop of color for brightness.

Here is what I came up with.

I did incorporate three other sets of dies to make this card.  First, because I wanted you to see the versatility of Stampin' UP!®'s product line.  Second, because these dies are some of my favorites. Of course the Tasteful Labels Dies would coordinate perfectly but look how gorgeous the Stitched Shapes Dies, Well Written Dies, and the Sunflower Dies work for this card.
I didn't even add bling to this card because I thought it looked amazing without it.

What do you think?  Are you ready to make this card?  I hope so!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!

Update Tuesday July 7, 2020 - Forever Gold Card

Hello!

Thank you for being so patient this week!  I am a bit behind on my blog posts as life sometimes gets in the way!  LOL.  I absolutely love the card I made for Update Tuesday this week.
It is fun, vibrant and sparkly!  The trifecta!

Here is the image Stampin' UP! shared with us on Tuesday:

How beautiful are these cards made with the Lovely You Bundle!  Because sometimes my brain doesn't fire on all cylinders, I didn't order this stamp set but I did order the punch.  Hmmm...not sure what I was thinking.  All I know is, I need to get the stamp set too.  It has amazing sentiments.

What do you think?  Is this a stamp set you would use a lot?

Here is a pic of Tuesday's Card!  Look how sparkly the Forever Gold Designer Series Paper is!
I think it could be used to make stunning Christmas Cards.

Because I don't have the Lovely You Stamp Set yet, I decided to you the sentiment
"YOU ARE wonderful" from the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set.  I think it looks lovely!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!

One Card Wonder Wednesday July 1, 2020 - Nothing's Better Than Stamp Set

Hello!

Welcome back to One Card Wonder Wednesday.  Today I decided to play around with a stamp set that is just as cute as can be, the Nothing's Better Than stamp set.

Here is a pic of it:

Isn't it super sweet.  It kind of has a retro cookbook vibe to it.  I love it.  The shape of the coffee cup and the daiquiri glass are totally reminiscent of 1960-70's cookbooks.  Honestly, even the font reminds me of a vintage cookbook.

Since this set is so fun I wanted to pair some fun colors with it.  I chose Rich Razzleberrry, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, and of course I threw in some vellum.  Then I stamped the chocolate chip cookie image onto Crumb Cake and Soft Sued card stocks.  And here is where it got tricky, lol....I thought I purchased the Love You More Than Dies when I purchased the stamp set.  UMMM, no, no I didn't.  hahaha.  But I figured out the cookies can be punched out with a 1inch circle punch, do a little fussy cutting around the bitten off section and you have a cute cookie for your card!

How fun is this cutie?!!!  I love how vibrant it is and the contrast of the cookies with the brightly card stock makes it stand out even more.  I used the Store Label Punch for the sentiment which I stamped in Granny Apple Green and Early Espresso Inks.

I stamped and punched six cookies for the front of the card but only five would fit without overlapping so I added the extra one to the inside of the card!  What do you think?

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!

Update Tuesday, June 30, 2020 - Every Memory counts

Hello!

I am super excited to share today's Update Tuesday with you!  Stampin UP!® shared two projects that are perfect for preserving your memories using Memories & More Cards!

Image © Stampin' UP!

Look at these two amazing projects!  One using the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle and the Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Cards on a 12 x 12 scrapbook page.  The other using the World of Good Memories & More Cards and the 6 x 8 photo pages.

I decided I would make the 12 x 12 scrapbook page because I think it is phenomenal!

The first step is using the Basic Pattern Party Masks with the White Embossing Paste to create a background on the 12 x 12 Whisper White Card Stock.

Next I stamped the sunflowers from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set, one each in Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, and Bumblebee.  After each one was stamped I went over them with a Blender Pen to blend the ink and color the flowers in.  Now after I stamped in these colors I realized I should have stamped one of my Sunflowers in Pool Party instead of Misty Moonlight, so I did.  The only problem was, the ink didn't work as well with the Stampin' Blends.  It didn't color the flower in like the other inks did.  So I decided to stick with the Misty Moonlight flower.  I think it still looks stunning!

Next, all you have to do is put everything together.  The Embossing Paste is dry so you can work on you 12 x 12 page.  Add the flowers and the Memories & More Cards using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Add a photo or photos of your choice.  Then finish the page by adding some Woven Threads Sequins.

In the video I forgot to add the "You are my Sunshine" Memories & More card to the page, LOL!  I did remember to add it later though!

Make sure you view the video to see how to create this beautiful page!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!
