Rustic Wedding Card

Hello!
It has been an extremely busy and challenging couple of months!  I can't believe I haven't had a chance to get on here and share any of my creations with you until now.  I have had a BOGO sale, I have been sick for two weeks...and now recovered, I have started eating healthier and we all know that is a challenge in itself, and I have been working on new cards to share with you!

This card is extremely special to me.  I spent extra time thinking and prepping to make it extraordinary, in my humble opinion, hee.  I have been loving the new All Wired Up Background stamp.    Stampin it with VersaMark ink and embossing with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder-WOWZA! Have you tried it yet?  If not, I highly recommend it.

Can you guess what my secret ingredient for this card is?   No? Yes?  Well, it is a 2 3/4" x 5" piece of paper bag!  So simple and yet I felt like genius when I thought of it, ha!  I just cut a brown paper lunch sack to use, mainly because it is thinner than a grocery bag and I wanted to run it through the Subtles Embossing folder to create texture before I accordion folded it to use as a background for the floral centerpiece.  After running it through the Subtles embossing folder it almost has the texture of crepe paper, it's fantastic.

I stamped my floral image using the Bloom and Grow Stamp Set.  This was a set I wasn't sure I needed, until I used it.  Don't get me wrong,  I had already bought it, because I'm a stamping junkie, plain and simple.  But as I said, it wasn't until I stamped with it that I realized how much I love it.  And I think one of the reasons it will be a favorite of mine is because I can color the images with the Stampin' Blends markers.  I have said it a hundred times and I will say it again...the Stampin' Blends Markers make me feel like an artist!

And since I am completely new to blogging I am having trouble getting my video to download so I will include my YouTube link so you can watch it there.  I will get better at this I promise.  My YouTube channel is Stampin' With Valerie Smith.  Here is the link to the Rustic Wedding Card Video:
