You Always Deliver Birthday Card

Hello!

I just made a super cute birthday card using the You Always Deliver Stamp Set.  This is the second time I have used this set and I can say that it is fun to use!  I love the little doggie that is chasing the delivery person.  The delivery person has his hands held out to carry the packages, the gift, or the potted plant.  How cute is that?

For this card, since it is a birthday card, I have the delivery man carrying the gift .  The little doggie is chasing behind with hearts floating above his head...he loves the delivery man.  LOL

There are lots of written instructions for this card but I promise it is a simple card to put together.
Who will you give this card to?

Good Morning Magnolia Birthday Card

Hello!

I'm back with the bonus card I promised yesterday.  This card is very similar to yesterday's One Card Wonder Wednesday Card.  As I said, the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Large Specialty Cards and Envelopes are fantastic to make cards with.  I also feel they could be cut apart and used for scrapbooking or other paper crafting projects.  What do you think?

As I was cutting Designer Series Paper yesterday for my One Card Wonder Wednesday card I realized I could cut extra and create a simple birthday card at the same time...and here's the proof.

Similar to yesterday...but not the same.  I flipped the Designer Series Paper over to use the opposite side.  I was already using the Magnolia Memory Dies to cut magnolias from the Designer Series Paper so I just cut extra for this card.  I do this a lot when making a project.  I cut extra so I can make more cards wether they are exactly the same or slightly different.  I want to utilize my time wisely. It is a great habit to have.

Measurements & Instructions
  1. Fold the Kraft Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card on the score line.
  2. Adhere the Whisper White and Mossy Meadow printed envelope liner to the envelope.
  3. Cut a piece of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper 2 7/8in. x 4in. and one strip of the Mossy Meadow striped Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper 3/4in. x 4in.
  4. Using Snail Adhesive adhere the Designer Series Paper to the center of the card front.
  5. Using Snail Adhesive adhere the Mossy Meadow strip across the front top of the Magnolia Lane DSP as shown in photo.
  6. Using the Magnolia Memory Dies, die cut one Magnolia from a piece of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.
  7. Cut a third piece of Designer Series Paper 3/4in. x 4 in. and trim both ends fully inserting each end into the Banner Triple Punch.
  8. Cut a piece of Petal Pink Card Stock 1in. x 3 1/2in. and trim both ends fully inserting each end into the Banner Triple Punch.
  9. Punch a 1in. circle piece of Designer Series Paper, making sure you get a floral image.
  10. Tie a bow around the Magnolia flower using Linen Thread.
  11. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the magnolia to the front of the card.
  12. Brush Wink of Stella over the flowers to give it some shine.
  13. Using Mossy Meadow Ink, stamp the sentiment "Happy birthday Gorgeous" from the Beautiful You Stamp Set, to the Petal Pink Banner.
  14. Using Snail Adhesive adhere the Designer Series Paper banner and circle to the left side of card.
  15. Using Stampin' Dimensionals adhere the Petal Pink Banner to the top of the Designer Series Paper Banner.
  16. Cut a piece of Whisper White Card stock 4in. x 6in.
  17. Using Petal Pink ink, ink the large Magnolia floral image, stamp off once on scrap paper and then stamp onto the left side of the Whisper White Cardstock piece.  This will leave a light image of the Magnolia that a message can be written over inside the card.
  18. Using Snail Adhesive adhere the stamped Whisper White Card Stock to the inside of the card. Voila!

One Card Wonder Wednesday August 28, 2019 - Good Morning Magnolia Card

Hello!

Welcome to this week's One Card Wonder Wednesday!  I haven't played with my Good Morning Magnolia Bundle in a while so I thought why not make a card for today.  I also incorporated the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Cards and Envelopes for this project.  Have you seen them?  They are beautiful with a silver embossed lining on the front.  They are made with Kraft paper, which pairs perfectly with the stamp set.  Whisper White and Mossy Meadow magnolia printed envelope liners are included, making these cards even more special.

I feel as though this card came together effortlessly.  So effortlessly that I made an alternative birthday card at the same time.  The Birthday card is slightly different and tomorrow I will post another blog with instructions for it as an added bonus to today's card!

It is hard to tell from the photo but the magnolia flowers are die cut from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper and are adhered to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.  I also used Wink of Stella to give them some sparkle.  Silver Metallic Thread and the Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishments add extra dimension to the card.

  2. Adhere the Whisper White and Mossy Meadow printed envelope liner to the envelope.

  9. Thread a piece of Linen thread through the tag and tie a bow.  Then thread a small piece of Silver Metallic Thread through the hole and tie it in a knot and trim off excess.
  10. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the magnolias to the front of the card over the top of the magnolias that are printed on the Designer Series Paper.

  15. Using Snail Adhesive adhere the stamped Whisper White Card Stock to the inside of the card. Voila!

Update Tuesday - August 27, 2019 - Pressed Petals Journal

Hello!

Welcome to another Update Tuesday!  Today's Update includes the beautiful Pressed Petals Journal. I had to show you this photo enlarged because the details are gorgeous...and because it is worthy of it.  The journal cover is floral debossed,  meaning the image is imprinted into the cover and is not raised like embossing.  How pretty is that!?   I'll be honest, it reminds me of debossed leather. Does it remind you of anything?

As you can can see the journals are spiral bound.  What you can't see are the pages.  They are printed with beautiful floral images and will make your journaling or memory keeping extra special.  The pages are also perforated so you can remove them and use as card fronts if desired..
