One Card Wonder Wednesday, October 9, 2019 - Let it Snow Tag Card

Welcome to today's One Card Wonder Wednesday, October 9, 2019.
Do you want to build a snowman?!
I love snowmen.  To me they represent the holidays.  To me they represent wintery snow days.  To me they represent hot cocoa after spending the day outside, in the cold winter air, playing in the snow.  So when I first saw the Let It Snow Suite in the holiday catalog I was infatuated with it.  And of course knew it would be one of my first purchases.

I have been using the Let It Snow Suite to make cards and tags.  Then I saw a project on Pinterest that inspired me.  It was a gift bag that had a snowman tag attached to the front of it.  I loved the tag so much I wanted to recreate it using Stampin' UP! products.  But I wanted to step it up a notch and add that tag to the front of a card.  And here is the result...

What do you think?  I smile every time I see this card!  I might be making one just to keep for myself. 💕  This card makes me happy!  I hope it makes you happy too!  If you like this card and the video make sure you head over to my store to get your supplies to make some for yourself. and click shop now.
I am working my way to an incentive trip.  I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

Measurements and Instructions
  1. Cut a piece of Whisper White Thick Card Stock 5 1/2in. x 8 1/2in., score at 4 1/4in. and fold on score line.
  2. Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock 4in. x 5 1/4in. and emboss using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the front of the card using Snail Adhesive or Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
  3. Cut a piece of Smoky Slate Card Stock 3in. x 4 1/4in. and snip the top two corners off to create a tag shape.
  4. Using a 1/2in to 3/4in. circle punch, punch a black circle and there to the top middle of the tag and punch a small hole in it.
  5. Using the Snowman Builder Punch, punch a glittered snowman from the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper.  When you do this you will also punch a hat, arms, and carrot nose.  Save the hat.
  6. Using your paper snips fussy cut three trees from the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper.
  7. Cut two triangle shaped trees.  One from Whisper White Card Stock and Pool Party Card Stock.  I made the Whisper White tree a little bit taller.  If you have a triangle tree punch that will work perfectly.
  8. Cut a piece of Pool Party Card Stock 1/2in. x 3in. and in Memento ink stamp the sentiment "Celebrate THE Season" from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set.  Then snip the right end like a banner and punch a hole in the left end.
  9. Using Whisper White Baker's Twine attach the sentiment banner to the Smoky Slate Tag and then tie the ends of the bakers's twine individually in knots.
  10. Now look at the photo of the card and begin assembling the tag.
  11. Attach the Whisper White triangle tree to the tag using Snail Adhesive or Tombow Multipurpose glue.
  12. Attach the Pool Party tree using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  13. Attach the snowman and the snowman's hat using Stampin Dimensionals.
  14. Attach a felt scarf from the Let It Snow Embellishment Kit using Shimmery Crystal Effects...this has worked best for me as an adhesive for these felt embellishments.
  15. Attach the fussy cut pine trees using Stampin' Dimensionals, attach the rounded tree using Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
  16. Add a Star card stock sticker from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley to the top right of the card.
  17. Using Tombow Multipurpose Glue adhere lots of Snowflake Sequins to the tag.
  18. Using Snail Adhesive attach half of a Pearlized Doily to the top right of the tag.
  19. Using Stampin' Dimensionals attach the tag to the front of the card.
  20. On the inside of the card stamp snowflakes in the top right corner in Pool Party Ink. Voila!
