Update Tuesday November 12, 2019 - Toile Tidings Suite

It is Tuesday again!  Let's dive right into to today's Update Tuesday post!  The inspirational photo that Stampin UP!® shared with us demonstrators this morning really got me thinking about how I want my Christmas packages to look under the tree this year!

I am known for making sure I use ribbon, bows, handmade tags and coordinating products for each gift...but the wrapping on each gift does don't coordinate with the one next to it.  Maybe this year I will make that effort, maybe. LOL.   I kind of like having different colors "popping" out from underneath the tree.  Maybe that is because I have a hodge lodge Christmas Tree.  The only color coordination I have on my tree are the red and green Christmas balls, and my lights are Red, Green, and White.  The rest of my ornaments are all Hallmark ornaments, handmade ornaments, and ornaments that were gifted to myself, husband, and son.  I love it.

Don't get me wrong, I give props to all of those who have color coordinated Christmas trees, it's a lot of work buying, organizing, and decorating your trees.  I have helped my friend in the past with her Red & White tree.  Though it turned out amazing and we still awe at the hand-picked ornaments we chose, it was exhausting making sure everything worked together, ha ha!  But it was fun too!

This is the photo that Stampin' UP!® shared with us this morning.  It uses the Toile Tidings Suite.  In particular, these gifts are wrapped with the Toile Tidings Gift Wrap.  Did you know Stampin' UP!® is offering this gift wrap this year?  Isn't it fantastic?!  If you order the gift wrap, you will get four
24in. x 36in. pieces of gift wrap, two of each design shown above.    What could you wrap with this?

Unfortunately, this is a suite that I haven't purchased yet.  So I am going to de-construct the tag on the red & white striped package for you.  It looks like it would be easy to make if you have this suite.  And I think it is super cute Too!

Measurements and Instructions for Gift Tag on Red & White Striped pkg.
  1. Cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock 3in. x 5in.
  2. Cut a piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock 2in. x 5in. and then punch the end of it with the Banner Triple Punch.  Adhere it to the Whisper White Card Stock with Snail Adhesive.
  3. Using the All-Around Wreath Dies, die cut a wreath from Garden Green Card Stock.  Then adhere it to the tag using Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
  4. Punch a 2in. Whisper White Circle.  Then stamp the "'TIS THE Season" sentiment from the Tidings All Around Stamp Set in Real Red Ink.
  5. Using the All-Around Wreath Dies, die cut two of the leaf sprigs in Old Olive Card Stock (this is my best guess) and adhere underneath the sentiment.
  6. Tie a Linen Thread bow and adhere it to the center of the sprigs using a Mini Glue Dot.
  7. Punch a small hole in the top of the tag and thread an 8in. piece of Linen Thread through it so you can tie it to your gift package..
  8. Embellish the Garden Green Wreath with Red Rhinestones Basic Jewels. Voila!
