Kylie's Monthly Training Blog Hop - November 2019 - Sip Sip Hooray

Hello!

Welcome to This Month's Blog Hop with Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program.  I participated last month and it was a fantastic blog hop.  I'm excited to be joining it again.

So here I am getting ready for the holidays and along comes this fun stamp set from Stampin' UP!®.  Now believe me when I say it is unlike any of the other stamp sets in the catalog.  It is all about being an adult and having a drink or two to celebrate the season.  For me, a tiny bit of wine mixed with lemon-lime soda is how I do it...I never have been much of a drinker, and at 48, pretty sure I probably never will be! ha ha!  But that little concoction makes me happy.

And so does this stamp set!  I have always loved the way a martini glass looks so sophisticated when someone is holding it in the movies.  Silly? I know, but it just screams "FUN" to me.  This stamp set has a martini glass, a champagne glass, and a wine glass.  When you stamp all three together it looks like a beautiful little tray of drinks.  I love it!

They even look great when there are a bunch of them laid out on the table together, LOL!  I decided to make this card as swaps for OnStage (Stampin' UP!®'s Demonstrator convention) this weekend.  I am looking forward to handing these out and getting lots of wonderful card samples from other demonstrators in return.

Can you see yourself handing out some of these beautiful cards to your family and friends?

I wanted to make this card to be very Jolly, so I used Real Red and Pear Pizzazz for the drinks.    I wanted these drinks to be festive!  Then I tried Basic Black and Basic Gray for the glasses but they both just seemed too dark when I stamped them.  Instead I chose to use Smoky Slate and I love the way it turned out.
