OnStage Atlanta Trip, November 2019 - Post 2 - Say Yes to New Adventures

So today is my second day in Atlanta for OnStage Local.  But today was all about another demonstrator's local event.  I went with my up line (the demonstrator whom I signed up under in Stampin' UP!®) and four other team members.  It was a brand new experience for me.  As I have never gone to another demonstrator's event other than an event my up line has held.

So today's wall message from the hotel was perfect!  "Say yes to new adventures!"

I am loving these messages as you step off the elevator on every floor.  Now being the completely sane person that I am, wink wink, I rode the elevator to every floor so I could take photos of the walls.  Crazy, I think not.  A little strange, maybe.  Luckily there are only 7 floors so it didn't take long and except for the cameras recording me, I went unnoticed.

With that said, you should always say yes to trying something you haven't done long as it doesn't put you or others in danger of course.  You might like it.  You might fall in love with it.  You might become the best at it!  You will never know until you try!  That is what I did when I decided to sign up as a Stampin' UP! demonstrator !

Ok, enough about that, let's get to the nitty gritty, today's event.  There were about 150 other attendees there.  I want to get to the level where I throw big gatherings like this for others.  It was a little bit of a learning event.  There were four speakers who taught us some valuable techniques, tips, and tricks for stamping & running our businesses.  But mostly it was a about fun!
There were prizes:

I believe there were 15 of these bags that had various prizes in them.  I wasn't lucky enough to win one but two of the people in my group did win!  So that was exciting.

There were table gifts...adorable table gifts!

The Bird Ballad Laser Cut Cards & Tin!

The Pillow Box had a pin from the event, super cute!  And the mini Stampin' UP!® shipping box had a multipurpose glue and a shot glass to hold it in...what a genius idea.  For crafting and drinking, it doesn't get any better than that!

Everyone there also received a box with 12 make & take cards!  12!  There was an instruction pamphlet for them and a box to hold them all in.  Impressive.  By the end of the day we were all tired.  Possibly because it has been go-go-go since we got here but also because it was a fun filled day.  Nothing better than being tired because you had a good time.
This new adventure was worth it!!!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!
