Update Tuesday - November 19, 2019 - Peaceful Boughs

Hello!

Update Tuesday!  Once again Stampin' UP! has given us some beautiful inspiration via email.  I am always torn as to which project I should highlight.  If I had the extra time I would give you directions for all of the projects but alas I do not.  I have three classes to prep for and a One Card Wonder Wednesday video as well, whew!  Not complaining, I love it, just busy, busy, busy this week.
So now the hard part begins, which project do I choose?  Which project would you choose?

I love all three of these projects!  Look at how versatile the Peaceful Boughs stamp set can be...they made a beautiful non-Christmas thank you card!  I LOVE IT!  Then the stunning little gift box that they used the Perfect Parcel Dies to create.  And on the left the Night Before Christmas Memories & More Cards and Envelopes were used to make a stunning holiday card!
After much deliberation I chose to focus on the holiday card as the Christmas is approaching quickly and we could all use some holiday inspiration.  I do not have the Peaceful Boughs Bundle, so sad.  I honestly can't believe I don't have it.  I ordered so many items from the holiday catalog.  LOL!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

THANK YOU!
I live & love to inspire you!

Measurements & Instructions for the Holiday Card on Left
  1. Fold your Night Before Christmas Memories & More Card on the Score line.  Then using a Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker color in some of the stars on the card.
  2. Using the large label die from the Beautiful Boughs Dies die cut a Crumb Cake Card Stock label.
  3. Stamp the sentiment "May the spirit of PEACE gently fill your heart and home in this most wonderful time of the year" in Cherry Cobbler Ink on the Crumb Cake label.  Then stamp a pine bough in Mossy Meadow ink on the left side of the label.
  4. Ink up the "PEACE" from the sentiment using your Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker and stamp on a scrap of Whisper White Card Stock then cut out.  Adhere to the Crumb Cake label using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  5. Cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz Card Stock 3 3/4in. x 2 1/2in. and stamp the largest pine branch in Mossy Meadow Ink over and over to create a beautiful background.  Then trim both ends to resemble a banner.
  6. Adhere the Pear Pizzazz banner the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  7. Cut a piece of Vellum 3 1/4in. x 2in. and snip the ends to resemble a banner.  Adhere to the Pear Pizzazz Banner using Snail Adhesive or Tombow Multipurpose Glue, making sure to leave the end of the banner without adhesive so it doesn't show through.
  8. Stamp two pine cones in Early Espresso Ink on Crumb Cake Card Stock and die cut using the Beautiful Boughs Dies.
  9. Die cut one of the large pine boughs in Mossy Meadow Card Stock using the Beautiful Boughs Dies.
  10. Adhere the die cut pine bough and one pine cone to the left top corner of the Pear Pizzazz/vellum banner using Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
  11. Adhere the Crumb Cake label to the banner using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  12. Adhere the second pine cone to the top left corner of the label using Tombow Multipurpose Glue.
  13. Tie a bow using the Crushed Curry Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon...make it as large or as small as you like.  I personally love the look in the photo where the tails of the bow flow around the label.
  14. Stamp the back of the envelope with the sentiment "Season's Greetings" in Cherry Cobbler Ink and stamp a pine bough in Mossy Meadow Ink.  Voila!
