Update Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - Kerchief Card Kit Cards

Hello!
Happy New Year's Eve!  I hope you are enjoying your time today reflecting on this past year.
Do you have any goals set for this next year?  I have lots of new goals set for myself.   I will not be sharing them with anyone...I will just silently applaud myself as I achieve them!
Cheers to 2019 as we say goodbye to all of our mistakes, regrets, and sorrows.   Cheers to the New Year, 2020, as we say hello to our new achievements, happy moments, and celebrations!

So now let's get to today's Update Tuesday!  Stampin' UP shared a photo of cards made with the new Sale-a-Bration Kerchief Card Kit.  It is a kit that you can earn free with a $50 order beginning January 3rd.  It contains the supplies to make 8 cards with bandana-inspired designs.  There are two designs pre-printed on the  card bases.  One is Poppy Parade, Petal Pink, Early Espresso, and Whisper White.  The second is Coastal Cabana, Balmy Blue, Night of Navy and Whisper White.

Here is the photo that Stampin' UP!® shared with demonstrators today.

This kit is perfect for crafters on the go and busy crafters.  I also think it would make great gift for anyone you know who loves to craft...even non paper crafters.  Everything is included and zero stamping is involved if you use the pre-printed sentiments in the kit.  This is what I did as I do not have the Perfectly Framed Stamp Set that was used for the examples above.

Here are the cards I created using this kit.

I chose to use only the supplies in the kit as I wanted you to see how simple and easy these cards come together.  I think both of these cards would make great Birthday Cards.  And I will be honest right now, I need Birthday Cards.  I want 2020 to be an epic year for sending Birthday Cards!  This is a tradition that has gone to the wayside in recent years with technology allowing us to wish someone a Happy Birthday online or via text.  So let's bring it back!

I absolutely love this gold polka dot vellum!  I wish I had large 12 x 12 sheets of it!  Anyone who knows me knows that vellum makes me happy.

How perfect are these pre-printed sentiments?  They make putting these card together easy!
If you love the simplicity and time saving aspect of kits then this one is for you!  Head over to my store beginning January 3rd to earn one free for yourself with a $50 purchase!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!
I live & love to inspire you!

THANK YOU!

Merry Christmas Eve 2019 - Update Tuesday December 24, 2019

Hello!

Merry Christmas Eve 2019!  I hope you are all home celebrating this holiday with your loved ones.  I am home right now drinking a cup of hot tea while I write this blog post.  I have the Christmas tree lights on and the glow is so pretty.  One of my favorite things to do is sit in the living room with nothing but the tree lights on.  You?

So without further hesitation, here is today's Update Tuesday.   The inspiration that Stampin' UP! shared with us today is so cuuuute!  It centers around a Free Sale-a-Bration item that will be available beginning January 3rd with a $50 purchase.  I It is the Metallic Baker's Twine and Sequins Combo Pack.  The Metallic Twine is in two different colors, So Saffron with Gold Metallic Thread and Bermuda Bay with Bermuda Bay Metallic Thread.  The sequins are Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, and So Saffron and come in two sizes: 4mm and 6mm.

Here is the photo that was shared with us demonstrators this morning.

How cute are these projects!  And the sequins metallic baker's twine add just the right amount of sparkle.  Which project is your favorite?  Mine is the birthday card featuring the lion from the upcoming Birthday Bonanza Suite.  I love this little lion and if you do too, you will absolutely love the Birthday Bonanza Suite when it premieres on January 3rd.  As luck would have it....I do not have this suite yet but it is on my list for my next order!  Which I'm sure will be happening soon.
I can hardly wait to get it and make so many fun cards.

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!
I live & love to inspire you!

One Card Wonder Wednesday December 18, 2019 - Waterfront Birthday Card

Hello!

Thanks for joining me today!  Today's One Card Wonder Wednesday is a birthday card that I spotted on Pinterest.  I loved it so much I just had to recreate it.  The original posting was by thecraftyscouter.com  So, I thank the crafty scouter for the inspiration.

I haven't used the Waterfront stamp set as much as I would like.  It really does create beautiful landscape cards.  I think I am going to have to use it more.  I always forget how easy it is to make gorgeous cards with it until I use it and then it is like a new revelation every time, hahaha!  My fear is that I won't use any other stamp sets once I start using it because it is so beautiful.

Here is the birthday card, what do you think?  I am always in need of masculine birthday cards and this one screams masculine to me.  It is clean, simple, and to the point.   I also used the A Wish for Everything Stamp Set and the Well Written dies for this card.

When you watch the video you will see how easily this image comes together.  And although my photo, for some reason, looks like I used Very Vanilla Card Stock, I used Whisper White.  My photography skills need some help.  lol.  Bear with me as I get better at this photography thing.

Here is a close-up of the image and the sentiment.  I love how the stamp set makes it look like a watercolored card.  If you haven't bought this stamp set yet you really need to.  It is a keeper for sure.
Hope you enjoyed today's One Card Wonder Wednesday!

Kylie's Monthly Training Blog Hop- December 2019- For the Love of Felt

Hello!

Welcome to December's Blog Hop with Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program.  I have participated for the past two months, this is my third.  I am really liking this blog hopping.  Needless to say, I'm excited to be joining the blog hop again.

Now, before I get started talking about my project I just want you to know I am soooo over Christmas cards right now.  Normally I would already have my cards mailed.  But this year I am not even close.  I have my envelopes and handmade cards in the same general area...but no addresses on the envelopes or personal notes in the cards yet.

I have held several Christmas card classes and I right now I feel I will be lucky to complete my  cards.  This is the curse of being a relatively new Stampin' UP! demonstrator.  I am trying to conquer the world one card at a time, LOL.  So if you are reading this and are a usual recipient of one of my handmade cards...please be patient.  Your card will get to you, I promise.

Enough about my Christmas card dilemma, let's get to my project today.  I have had my eye on this project kit and stamp set since the annual catalog came out in June.
I finally ordered them and they arrived today!  EEK!  For The Love of Felt Kit !
Isn't it pretty?!

Image © Stampin' UP!®

There are so many gorgeous felt flowers in this kit.  And it is hard to see, but in the center of the photo,  the lined paper is actually vellum with words printed on it....."the hum of a honey bee...softer than the summer skies....the sun is like gold..."  It is gorgeous.  Even after seeing this photo so many times in the catalog I did not realize it was printed vellum!  Happy Surprise for me!

Don't forget, this is a project kit, which means the stamp set is not included.  To complete this kit you can buy the For the Love of Felt Stamp Set.

How beautiful is that vellum?  I find it simply stunning.  When these felt flowers are used with the stamped images it is the perfect combination.

When I made my cards I did not include any of the linen thread...I simply forgot!  OOPS!  And I replaced the Calypso Coral Ink for the flowers with Terracotta Tile Ink.
I want to make all things with this kit.  I have loved making these cards!  I will show you each one of them individually so you can see them in all of their splendor.

Card 1, You make and ordinary day special.  This is the first one I put together.  What is your favorite part of this card?  Honestly, I have a hard time choosing, but I love the stitched flourish.  I stamped it first onto the card in Sahara Sand Ink.

Card 2, So very thankful.  This one has the gorgeous vellum.  Can I let you in on a secret?  I cut two strips from the vellum instead of using the entire sheet.  I want to use it for other projects so I'm saving as much of it as I can.

Card 3, Let's Celebrate.  I think this card is perfect for a birthday, don't you?
Please, please, please, have lots of fun making these cards!
Make sure you buy the supplies below to get started!

And Don't forget to check out the rest of the amazing blogs on this blog hop!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!
I live & love to inspire you!

THANK YOU!
