Kylie's Monthly Training Blog Hop - Honey Bee Birthday Card - January 2020

 Hello!

Welcome to January's Blog Hop with Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program.  This is my fourth month participating in this blog hop.  I highly recommend her training program.  It is very laid back, work at your own pace...which we all know is a plus in this busy world!

I had such great time creating this month's Card!  I have a friend who is celebrating her 50th birthday today!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU MY FRIEND!  I will not give away her name, but she knows who she is.  LOL!  And by now she has already received her card from me so I can show you all a photo of it!

So?  A new fave? I think the Honey Bee  stamp set is quickly becoming a favorite of mine!  And to be honest, I have used it a lot lately.  I am not sure how I thought of this but it just came to me on Saturday as I was working on a project for a separate tutorial.    Sometimes I amaze myself...hahaha! I think I even mentioned in my video that I didn't even us Pinterest® to get inspiration for this card!

Here is another close up of the card.  I was happily surprised that the smallest Gold Glitter Enamel Dots fit perfectly on the end of the antennas.  They make a beautiful little touch of sparkle that shines with the Gold Foil honeycombs and embossed bees.

My sponging skills have improved greatly in the past few months.  As they say, practice make perfect.  Or pretty close anyway!  It used to frustrate me to try to sponge ink onto paper.  If I'm using a sponge dauber, it is still a daunting task.  But when I use the Stampin' Sponges I feel like a pro.  I cut one sponge into 6 pieces of pie, so-to-speak.  Then I punch out a card stock circle or other shape that I can fold in half and staple to the sponge.  Then label the name of the ink color on that circle.

What tried and true methods do you have for storing crafting items?
Here's what my sponging stash looks like!   This has been a helpful hint from Valerie!  LOL!

Don't forget to watch the video, buy your supplies from me, and make this card for yourself!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!

THANK YOU!
