One Card Wonder Wednesday - February 26, 2020 - Positive Thoughts

Hello!

It's time again for One Card Wonder Wednesday! I hope you are ready!  LOL!  This week I decided to make a "fluffy" card.  One with lots of layers.  I bought the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set in January   and then bought the new Nature's Thoughts Dies when they became available this month.  I have been dreaming about this card ever since.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love to make cards with layers.  It is kind of a thing of mine.  As is vellum.  I am known for my love and use of vellum in my projects.
Today's card is no exception.

Vellum is a "soft" element in a project, meaning it softens the look of the project, I chose to use all light colors for this card.  Then I added just a few pops of Flirty Flamingo.  I think the combination worked well.  I started with a So Saffron card base and worked my way from there, coordinating colors and elements.

I stamped with the Flirty Flamingo Ink on the inside of the card as well.  I am trying to stay with the theme of "no naked insides" that my upline started last year.

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!

THANK YOU!

Hello!

After a dreary day yesterday it is nice to see the sun shining this morning on Update Tuesday!  And an even bigger surprise than the sunshine, today's Update Tuesday focuses on the Tags In Bloom Stamp Set, hahaha.  The same stamp set you, my friends, chose on Facebook last week for my One Card Wonder Wednesday.  💕

Here is What STampin' UP!® had to say about the Tags In Bloom Stamp Set:
"TRULY TERRIFIC: TAGS IN BLOOM, NEW FOR SALE‑A‑BRATION

And Here is the photo that they shared for inspiration!

Which of these projects is your favorite?  I love the card on the right...it uses my favorite sentiment from the Tags In Bloom stamp set - "I miss your face"!  Eventhough that is my fave, I have decided to create the card on the left that combines the Tags In Bloom stamp set with the Country Club Suite.
I don't have any of the Copper Tea Tins which makes creating the center project a little difficult, LOL.   But luckily I have the Country Club Suite and I love combining stamp sets to create projects.

Isn't this card Cute?!  I love it!  Is there anything you would change about it?

Adding a stamped image to the inside of the card makes the card complete.  I decided the golf club would be the perfect for this card.

The wooden Country Club Elements really dress this card up!  I love them!  Have you had a chance to use them yet?

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

Paper Pumpkin February 2020 - Lovely Day

Hello!

How have you been inspired this weekend?  I was inspired by the February Paper Pumpkin!  I had put some of the cards together earlier in the week and recorded a video but was unable to download it.  UGH.  So I decided I would just do another video, this time live, so I could share this kit with you!  It is a great one!  I hope you ordered this one!  And if you didn't...don't miss out on March's Paper Pumpkin since it will be the 7th anniversary of Paper Pumpkin!  There will be an extra FREE stamp set in the kit!  WOOHOO!  So for $22 you will get two stamp sets, an ink spot and supplies to make 12 cards.  An amazing crafting deal!

Here are the cards from the Lovely Day Kit:

Which one is your fave?  I can't choose, I love all three of them!  In this kit there were supplies to make three of each.  The kit also coordinates with the FREE Sale-A-Bration Happy Birthday to You Stamp Set and the Birthday Dies that are available for purchase.  But as an extra bonus, beginning March 3rd the new Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper will be available as a FREE Sale-A-Bration item and it also coordinates with this kit!

I used the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper for the card on the left as an alternative card with February's Paper Pumpkin.

I also made three other alternative cards earlier in the week using the February Paper Pumpkin supplies...you don't have to follow the kit instructions unless you want to!  Take a chance and make something a little different!

One Card Wonder Wednesday February 19, 2020 - Tags In Bloom

Hello!

I am thankful you are here today visiting my blog for One Card Wonder Wednesday.  I conducted a poll on facebook to choose today's stamp set and so today's blog features a new stamp set
that will be available March 3rd - 31st as a FREE Sale-A-Bration
item with a $100 purchase.  What is better than free?  How about free and beautiful?!  And as an added bonus, the stamp set coordinates with two punches from the January Mini Catalog: The Label me Lovely Punch and the Label Me Fancy Punch.  WooHoo!

Image © Stampin' UP!®

What do you think?  How amazing is this set? The images that are shaded in the the Very Vanilla color show options for punching out.  Also, I love that the sentiments can be punched out with the Label Me Fancy and Label Me Lovely punches as well.

I thought I would use this stamp set to make simple card using the sentiment "I miss your face"!  I love that sentiment.  I will definitely be using it for a variety of cards.  What is your favorite sentiment in this stamp set?

I used Terracotta Tile and Crushed Curry Inks for the flowers. Then I made sure to make the sentiment "pop" by stamping it in Crushed Curry.

Since this stamp set has two-step stamping, making the flowers beautiful is easy.  Make sure you view the video to see how simple two-stamp stamping is.  Have fun making this card!

I am sooo close to a personal sales goal that I have set for myself so if you need supplies I would appreciate you heading over to my online store!  😊
