Hello!
Thanks for joining me today! I am a participating in a wonderful blog hop through Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator training program. So please make sure to visit the other blogs listed later in my post.
I have the opportunity to participate in a vendor market in March. I wanted to make something a little different for this market but was stumped as what to make. Then I saw a post on Facebook in a group dedicated to Stampin’ UP!® demonstrators and it had the perfect project. It was a bouquet of tulips created with the Tulip Builder Punch and pencils made by Michele Jutrisa! I want to thank her for her inspiration and wonderful idea.
I began by cutting strips of the card stock in 1 1/2in. strips and then scored them down the middle. I punched them with the Tulip Builder Punch so the score line goes down the center of the tulip. That made it easier to fold the tulips in half for gluing.
I folded 420 of these tulips…holy moly! It was totally worth it.
I had piles of tulips to glue together.I seriously thought it would never end but it did, hahaha! Isn’t that always the way when we start a project that we know is a long one? It feels never ending and then it’s done!
I have now made 70 of these pencils for the market in March. It took me almost two days!
Here is the final product…well, 1/3 of them anyway.
What do you think? I absolutely love them and want to thank Michele Jutrisa again for her inspiration!
I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin’ Journey!
I live & love to inspire you!
THANK YOU!
