Update Tuesday May 5, 2020 - Peaceful Poppies Cards

Today Stampin' UP!® shared a card that I can't share with you yet...ugh.  LOL  They shared inspiration from the new and upcoming Annual Catalog.  I don't have any of this products.  I was just able to pre-order yesterday.

In the photo that was shared there were projects showing how to use one suite of products to make different levels fo cards.  What are different levels you ask?  Beginner, Casual, and Avid.  A beginner crafter is exactly as described, just starting out in paper crafting.  Casual is middle of the road and Avid is advanced.

So today I am showing you how to use the Peaceful Poppies suite to make a casual style card and and avid style card.

Here is the first card I made:

Super simple to make using the Poppy Moments Dies, The Painted Poppies Stamp Set and the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set.  I embellished with the Frosted and Clear Epoxy Droplets.  I love how they add shimmer without being overwhelming.

The second card I made:

I started with the same elements and then added in some extras.  First I added a 3 1/4in. x 5 3/8in piece of Brights Designer Series Paper in Poppy Parade.  Then instead of the larger piece of Whisper White Card Stock I used a 4in. x 4in. square.  I began by stamping the leaves.  Then I added the extra stamped poppy.  Add the floral die cuts and then some die cut leaves as well to step it up.  I finished it with the same Frosted and Clear Epoxy Droplets and an Old Olive Baker's Twine bow.

Which one if your favorite?  It's hard to choose, they are both gorgeous.

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!
