Update Tuesday, June 30, 2020 - Every Memory counts

Hello!

I am super excited to share today's Update Tuesday with you!  Stampin UP!® shared two projects that are perfect for preserving your memories using Memories & More Cards!

Image © Stampin' UP!

Look at these two amazing projects!  One using the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle and the Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Cards on a 12 x 12 scrapbook page.  The other using the World of Good Memories & More Cards and the 6 x 8 photo pages.

I decided I would make the 12 x 12 scrapbook page because I think it is phenomenal!

The first step is using the Basic Pattern Party Masks with the White Embossing Paste to create a background on the 12 x 12 Whisper White Card Stock.

Next I stamped the sunflowers from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set, one each in Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, and Bumblebee.  After each one was stamped I went over them with a Blender Pen to blend the ink and color the flowers in.  Now after I stamped in these colors I realized I should have stamped one of my Sunflowers in Pool Party instead of Misty Moonlight, so I did.  The only problem was, the ink didn't work as well with the Stampin' Blends.  It didn't color the flower in like the other inks did.  So I decided to stick with the Misty Moonlight flower.  I think it still looks stunning!

Next, all you have to do is put everything together.  The Embossing Paste is dry so you can work on you 12 x 12 page.  Add the flowers and the Memories & More Cards using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Add a photo or photos of your choice.  Then finish the page by adding some Woven Threads Sequins.

In the video I forgot to add the "You are my Sunshine" Memories & More card to the page, LOL!  I did remember to add it later though!

Make sure you view the video to see how to create this beautiful page!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!

One Card Wonder Wednesday June 24, 2020 - Game On Card

Hello!

It's time for another One Card Wonder Wednesday post!  I'm super excited about this post.  I used the new Game On Stamp Set from Stampin' UP!®  I bought this set to make cards for my son and now I can see I will be making him a lot of cards, LOL!

Here is the card I created:

I love it!  I started with four card stock colors: Real Red, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, and Whisper White.  I also started with four inks:

I thought these colors combined would be perfect for this card...and they look fabulous together.  I really love how the chess pieces look.  Unfortunately because I stamped them directly in the middle you can't see them very well on the finished card.  You can see the detail best in the video.

I had to look at the catalog to make sure they were not Distinktive stamps.  They are not, but just look at the detail.  It is amazing.

For the inside of the card I stamped off the Basic Gray ink once and then stamped the dice on the lower right corner.  Even with the lighter ink these dice look good!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!

Update Tuesday June 23, 2020 - Field of Flowers Card

Hello!

It's time for Update Tuesday...but today is a little different.  The inspiration that Stampin' Up!® shared was fabulous, unfortunately I do not have any of the stamp sets, dies or supplies used for them.  LOL.
So I designed a cute little card using the Field of Flowers bundle.

This is the first card I've made with this bundle.  I started with Pool Party Card Stock and a strip of Pool Party Designer Series Paper from the Subtles 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Stack.  I first stamped the stems with Pear Pizzazz Ink and then added the flowers in Magenta Madness Ink.

Then I added some of the new Artistry Blooms Sequins.  I really cannot get enough of these sequins.  They are self adhesive and come in four colors, you get one sheet of each Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody, Rich Razzleberry.  I used the Mango Melody ones, I thought maybe they were Magenta Madness but so close you can't even tell.  They have a wonderful iridescent sheen.

To finish the card I stamped the little flowers on the inside let of the card.

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!

June 2020 Paper Pumpkin - Box of Sunshine!

Hello!

I received my Paper Pumpkin on Saturday and have been waiting patiently to put it together!  I finally had time to do it today!  YAY!

I cannot tell you how beautiful this kit is.  Even the photos I will be sharing with you don't do it justice.  It is so bright and vibrant.  Not to mention, all of these cards are just plain cute!

This month's kit creates 8 cards, and also includes a sheet of stickers to decorate your box with so you can share a box of sunshine with someone.  Fill it with your handmade cards, candies, gum, little trinkets, or toys...anything that will fit in the box!  I plan to gift the cards I made today in the gorgeous box.

How cute is this box after you decorate it with the cared stock stickers included?!  Plus...those gorgeous gold embossed envelopes!  The decorated envelopes are always one of my favorite parts of my monthly Paper Pumpkin!

Which one of these is your favorite?  These are the designs that Stampin' UP!® included directions for in  the kit!

And here are the alternatives I made using the same card bases and card pieces...just went with my own thing!....except the lower left card, I loved Stampin' UP!®'s design so much I had to make it again!

Now that you have seen June's Paper Pumpkin you need to hop over to my Paper Pumpkin Site and reserve July's Paper Pumpkin for yourself!  Here is a sneak peek:

Update Tuesday June 2, 2020 -Jar of Flowers Card

Hello!

I feel so behind today...I should have posted this a couple of weeks ago and it completely slipped my mind.  LOL.

I made this fun Jar of Flowers Card two different ways.  One is a regular card and one is a shaker card using the Mason Jar Shaker Domes.

What do you think?  I love the combination of the new In Color Bumblebee combined with last year's In Color Seaside Spray.    For this card I stamped directly onto the scalloped rectangle cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I then colored with Stampin' Blends - Flirty Flamingo, Seaside Spray, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce, Crumb Cake, and Old Olive.

Here is the second version where I did everything that I did on the first card but this time I punched out the jar using the jar punch, added the Mason Jar Dome, and stamped the floral image a second time, colored it and fussy cut it out before I added it over the first image.  I think it makes it pop!

I added some of the Woven Threads Sequins for my shaker material...clearly I should have added more, LOL.  But it still shakes none-the-less.

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!
