Blogging Friends Blog Hop - July 2020 - Green With Envy

Hello!

Welcome to my blog today!   I have joined with some other talented Stampin' UP!® Demonstrators from around the world for a monthly blog hop.  This is my first blog hop with this group of people.  I'm very excited to be a part of this!  Don't miss any of the projects!  Make sure you hop to the next blog using the links at the bottom of my post!

This month's theme is Green With Envy which entails choosing my favorite STampin' UP!® green and create a card with it.  Which is perfect for me since Green is my favorite color.  I always go back and forth between the greens regarding which one is my favorite.  Currently it is Shaded Spruce.

Here is the card I made using Shaded Spruce, Whisper White, and Vellum.

I wanted to create a card that incorporated lots of texture.  So I cut 1in. x 3 3/4in. strips of Shaded Spruce and embossed each of them with a different embossing folder.  From top to bottom- Ornate Floral 3D, Greenery, Seabed 3D, Parisan Flourish 3D, Tasteful Textile 3D, Hammered Metal 3D, Pinewood
Planks 3D, and Absolutely Argyle 3D.  Then I ripped a small portion off the strips lengthwise before adhering them to the card.

I stamped the sentiment "to a friend that makes me smile" from the Forever Fern Stamp Set onto Whisper White Card Stock and die cut a label using the Tasteful Labels Dies.  Punched out a vellum Label Me Lovely Tag.  Die cut some leafy stems using the Forever Flourishing Dies.   I added some In Good Taste Elements stems for extra texture!  Aren't they gorgeous?!

I stamped some leaves on the inside of the card using the Forever Fern Stamp Set which I must say coordinates perfectly with this month's blog hop theme.

I hope you visit all of the blogs listed below and comment on each of them!  Have a great Day!

I appreciate you being a part of my Stampin' Journey!

I live & love to inspire you!
