I have been thinking lately that I need to add an extra video into my weekly routine. What day is the perfect day? Is there a perfect day? I don’t have answers to those questions so I just picked a day. Sunday. And here I am sharing my first Sunday Stamping Post with you!
What is your favorite designer series paper? Do you have a favorite designer series paper? I really don’t. I think I love some of them equally and then I love some of them a little bit more. LOL! Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper is one of the ones that I love a little bit more!
Can you see why I love it a little bit more? It just exudes classic, traditional Christmas vibes and feelings. Don’t you agree? I stamped the sentiment from the Wrapped in Christmas Stamp Set directly onto the designer series paper.
Before I even had an idea for the card layout I knew I was going to be doing a lot of fussy cutting. Have I ever mentioned that I love fussy cutting?! It is not for everyone, but for me, it allows me to make gorgeous, detailed cards. Make sure you view the video and I will give you a few pointers for making your fussy cutting a little bit easier.
I like to lay my fussy cut images out on a background that helps me see all of the detail of the images. This makes it easier to decide if you want to add more little pieces or cut pieces off.
I decided to add extra little pieces. I fussy cut some more pine boughs and added them to the card for some extra fluff! You all know that I like fluff because it adds just a little bit more!
