Hello!
Welcome to Sunday Stamping! Today’s project is a Clear Tiny Treat box covered in Poinsettia Plush Specialty Designer Series Paper. I wish I could show you this project in video but today I am on a road trip to the Mayo Clinic…not the best kind of road trip but hopefully at the end of this short trip I will have some answers. Wish me Luck and get ready to craft!
Start with one of Stampin; UP!®’s Clear Tiny Treat Boxes.
Make sure you remove the protective film before you fold your treat box…everything is scored so this is super easy.
Once your box is folded, decide what treats you are going to put in it. I was able to fit four Lindor Truffles in mine. Cut a piece of Plush Poinsettia Designer Series Paper 1 7/8″ x 8 1/2″. Using Tear and Tape, attach the DSP to your box starting with the little flap. I added a strip of Tear and Tap to the middle of each side of the Tiny Treat Box where the DSP wraps around.
When you get to the front of the treat box use a 1/2″ punch to punch out the little half circle in the DSP. Then add Tear and Tap adhesive directly to the Plush DSP and adhere to the front of the box. Next die cut some Snowflakes using the So Many Snowflake Dies.
Wrap Ribbon around the Tiny Treat Box and adhere with Mini Glue Dots. I used ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack.
Assemble your snowflake by gluing several different showflakes together to create a beautiful layered top piece. Then adhere to top of Tiny Treat Box using a Stampin’ Dimensional.
Last, Embellish your box if you like…all I did was add a Basic Rhinestone Jewel to the center of my Snowflake. You could embellish it much more or keep it simple like I did. Now all you have to do is gift this beauty to someone!
