Sunday Stamping…and the second blog I have worked on today, LOL. I wanted to make sure you didn’t have to wait a week for this post. So here I am typing away at 7pm. You are worth it!
Today’s Sunday Stamping was a fun one. I shared an easy way to use up leftover strips of Designer Series Paper to make gorgeous Christmas cards. Do you have lots of leftover strips of DSP? I do, I always do. So I like to try to utilize them in projects. Here is one result of doing just that…
I prepped for about 10 minutes before my video today cutting my 1″ x 3″ DSP strips and my layers 3 1/8″ x 4 1/4″ and 3 1/4″ x 4 3/8″. I used Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, and Shaded Spruce for the layers.
The Real Red Sheer Ribbon looks gorgeous tied around the card. You can choose to either tie a knot like I did or tie it in a bow. I absolutely love how these cards.
I used different strips for each of the cards to demonstrate how versatile the ‘Tis The Season Designer Series Paper is. Don’t you think this technique and layout could be used for any type of card? Birthday? Celebration? Anniversary?
Enjoy making a bunch of these throughout the year.
